One of the most important aspects of security is staying up to date with trends, best practices and current events. News sites and Twitter are great ways to keep up but people often forget the value add podcasts bring to the table. That's why we've complied a list of our favorite security podcasts. This is in no way a comprehensive list so please let us know if we missed any in the comments below!

CyberSpeak with InfoSec Institute Podcast: Get security awareness and IT training insight direct from the trenches in this weekly podcast hosted by InfoSec Institute’s Chris Sienko.

Security NowSteve Gibson and Leo Laporte's take on security. This is a weekly podcast started back in 2005, making it one of the longest running security podcasts to date.

OWASP 24/7OWASP 24/7 is a series of Podcasts highlighting brought to you by the folks at OWASP. What started out as an Original series by Jim Manico has since expanded highlighting OWASP people and projects from around the world.

The Security Orb ShowThe Security Orb Show is one of our favorites and includes interviews, event overviews and much much more.

The Southern Fried Security PodcastThe Southern Fried Security Podcast is designed to fill the gap between highly technical security podcasts and Security Now. This is more of a "family friendly" podcast compared to Pauldotcom and Exotic Liability.

Risky Business: This is a great news show hosted by Patrick Gray. Patrick is constantly exploring new security concerns and does a great job breaking down and explaining new concepts.

PaulDotCom: The PaulDotCom Security Weekly Podcast is technical and nature and each episode comes with detailed "Slide Notes" breaking down the topics covered in each episode.

Liquidmatrix Podcast: The Liquid Matrix Security Digest is the story of 4 opinionated infosec pros, hosted by  Dave Lewis, James Arlen, Matt Johansen and Ben Sapiro. These guys aren't afraid to tell it like it is and speak their minds.

Tenable: This podcast is hosted by some of the biggest names in the security community, Paul Asadoorian, Ron Gula, Jack Daniel and Carols Perez. This podcast covers the latest in security news, vulerabilities and Tenable's Nessus and SecurityCenter products.

Exotic Liability: The Exotic Liability Podcast is perhaps the most entertaining security podcast out today, always packed with great information. Topics frequently discussed are penetration testing and social engineering. It should be noted that this particular podcast is NSFW.
